Full Moon Spectral 12, Saturday, May 13, 2006 Creation Moon Meditation Cast a circle, drum, play your favorite music, or simple sit and gaze up to the sky, quiet your mind and open your heart. Welcome Great Mother of Creation: Minerva, Brigid, Ceres, Cerridwen, Eve, Freya, Hecate, Hestia, Ix Chel, Isis, Kali, Lakshmi, Lilith, Mary, Maya, Oya, Pele, Shakti, Sulis, Tara, Venus; Mother of us all, we call you to our presence, on this the eve of Mothers Day when we honor you in the aspect of all Earth Mothers. Be here with us now and always, as your light shines full upon us. Inspiration of our dreams, power of our heart, we thank you for your hand upon our hearts, and your guidance in our works. Illuminate our path to the abundance of our dreams, as we seek to share our creation with the world. Draw back the veil of inhibitions, self-doubt, and fear to allow us to dance freely in our endeavors. Share your wisdom, your mysteries of creation, be our muse. Listen to the words of the Great Mother of creation; record your insights as you are guided. Great Mother of Creation in all your many aspects we thank you for your inspiration, guidance and support as we create the abundant life of our dreams. Full Moon Planetary 10, Thursday, April 13, 2006Ritual of Gratitude. Full Moon on the path to Becoming corresponds with Nurturing, it is a time of great creative energy in the time leading to this point we have created a plan, studied what is needed, discovered what our place is with in the plan, and taken action to set the plan in motion… in the fullness of the full moon we nurture those plans, by offering gratitude for the coming harvest…opening ourselves to fully allow our plan to succeed. Rituals take many forms, and indeed life itself is a continuous string of rituals… some mindless and irreverent, some deep and meaningful. Giving Thanks is like that, in our rushed lives we often utter the words “Thank you” by rote, because it is expected or automatic rather than as a deep and meaningful offering of gratitude. Tonight on the eve of the Full Moon, gather items that represent those things your plan is manifesting, and those things that you already have that you are thankful for as Amulets of Gratitude.. For example, if you are manifesting financial abundance gather picture of what that money will allow you to purchase, if you are trying to manifest good health write out the specifics of what good heath looks and feels like (use all positives write what you want not what you don’t) Then if you already have possessions you are grateful for have pictures if those things, if you are grateful for your family have pictures of them…. Set up your focus altar, using anything you choose including the items mentioned above, and a separate ritual candle. Call the directions, Invite the guides and Deities and Cast a circle, as you would like. Then Light the ritual candle, and say or think… May the Light of this candle kindle within my memory the flame of gratitude, so that I might remember how appreciative I am of the joy that is my life. May Gratitude this candle represents, shine throughout my life, so that I might remember to share that appreciation with those who contribute to the joy that is my life. (Meditate on all that you are grateful for, those things that have been, those that are and those that are on their way.) May the Warmth of the flame with in my being, nurture my belief and thankfulness in the abundance that is mine, so that it will continue to grow and come to harvest. May the Joy that is my life, be a candle in the universe, so that I may help to ignite the flame of abundance and gratitude in others. May the Universe that I am a part of, support my plans, so that together we all unite in abundant joy and endless gratitude. Aho You can choose to extinguish the ritual candle, or let it burn fully as we will be doing at our hearth, (place it in a water proof candle holder, set in a bowl of water, we use a fish bowl to protect it from breezes, clumsy house inhabitants and wayward fairies.) Thank and Release the Deities, Guides and Directions and Open your circle as you choose. In love and gratitude, Ameya New Moon, New Beginnings and Leaps of Faith: In the Becoming Path New Moon marks Nativity, To Hope, I See, In the direction of Beyond, In the element of Spirit, Birth, Internal Formation of your Lunation Plan…. In short a beginning. On this the night when the moon is nearly invisible, yet definitely growing, we celebrate the renewal of faith and begin again to plan for the next month. It is the day of the monthly celebration of rebirth. It is the moment in time when we stand in the completion of what has been, and look forward to what will now be. Faith embodied within a moment of time. Tonight we will ritually explore the source of Divine inspiration, the roots of creation, the seat of Faith…. For the purposes of the Hearth Ritual being done at Ravija’s home, we will be invoking Isis, please choose to invoke or evoke the Divine aspect of your choice. Choose the Aspect who possesses a voice you can hear. Preparation: Take time to prepare yourself for ritual, bathe (in a physical bath or astrally) away all the completed energy, making yourself ready for the new, much like pruning back last years growth from the garden to make way for the new. Assume an attitude of graciousness and gratitude, honor each completion, for the lessons and strength it has brought to your life, know that you are greater for having embodied these experiences. Thank your body, mind and spirit for sharing these experiences, pamper your body as a vessel of the Divine, remember you always carry the Divine Spark within you and tonight you will call that Spark into an Ancient flame. Gather together: 7 stones or crystals, which for you carry the vibration of grounding, protection and support. 7 candles to represent the 7 directions The Ritual: Hail to those who would celebrate Nativity, and the energy of the New Moon. Come all who would join us as equals in mutual support and protection. Grounding: Breathe deeply and as we exhale we begin. We release our isolation to the stars, Breathing in the Energy that connects all things We allow our bodies to be caressed by Nature. Our lungs are filled with eternal breath, Our senses are filled with the joy of being alive Our Hearts are filled with gratitude for this Moment. We finally allow our Spirits to Soar Free. We remember we are creations of the Universe, Eternal in our Essence, One with the Heavens and the Earth we are the body of the Great Goddess pulsing with the Energy of Life. Open Hand to Open Heart, We cast a circle that never parts. We call upon the Guardians of East and Air. Circle with us, stand among us as equals, in mutual support and protection. Raphael Guard our Eastern Gate, (Place one of the 7 stones in the east. Light the Air Candle.) Open Hand to Open Heart, We cast a circle that never parts. We call upon the Guardians of the North, and Earth. Circle with us, stand among us as equals, in mutual support and protection. Uriel Guard our Northern Gate, (place another of the 7 stones in the north and Light the Earth Candle) Open Hand to Open Heart, We cast a circle that never parts. We call upon the Guardians of the West, and Water. Circle with us, stand among us as equals, in mutual support and protection. Gabriel Guard our Western Gate, (place another of the 7 stones in the west and Light the Water Candle) Open Hand to Open Heart, We cast a circle that never parts. We call upon the Guardians of the South, Circle with us, stand among us as equals, in mutual support and protection. Michael Guard our Southern Gate. (place another of the 7 stones in the south and Light the Fire Candle) Open Hand to Open Heart, We cast a circle that never parts. We call upon the Guardians of Above, Circle with us, stand among us as equals, in mutual support and protection, Grandfather Sky, Guard the Gate of Above, (place as stone, to the east of the center of the circle, and Light the Candle of Heritage.) Open Hand to Open Heart, We cast a circle that never parts. We call upon the Guardians of Below, Circle with us, stand among us as equals, in mutual support and protection. Gaia, Guard the Gate of Below, (place the 6th stone to the west of center and Light the Crystals Candle) Open Hand to Open Heart, We cast a circle that never parts. We call upon the Guardians of Center, Circle with us, stand among us as equals, in mutual support and protection, (State the name of your higher self) Guard the Gate of Center, Place the 7th stone in the center. Open Hand to Open Heart, We cast a circle that never parts. Great God Osiris, God of the underworld, we call you to be here with us, consort to the Goddess. Come stand among us, as equals in mutual support and protection. Open Hand to Open Heart, We cast a circle that never parts. Great Goddess, oldest of the old, Isis eternal, She of ten thousand names we call you to Goddess of Compassion, of Inspiration, of Healing of Magick, we call you, be with us, to be within us, be us. Open Hand to Open Heart, We cast a circle that never parts. Ritual Intent: We have cast this circle of equals to seek the inner spark of creativity with in each of us, Goddess Isis, we seek your guidance as we go deep within our hearts to find the place where the seed of our dreams resides, to follow back the roots reaching back to the source to nurture and tend them to prepare the seed to bloom. Take us Old one, to the source of our desires, teach us to care for an nurture them into being. Seek Visions and insight and then give thanks for the gifts received. Talking Stick and journal your results. Ground…. See above, and then add. I return to my body, I return to the earth, and I know that When my life wanes, I will return to the Stars, to be held once again in the body of the Great Goddess, I am always the Energy of Life. Release the God and Goddess, Guardians and Directions. Then Open the Circle. Circle to Circle, never and end Cup to Cauldron, ever a friend. Merry Meet and Merry Part and Merry Meet again. Ritual Suggestion: Take a ritual bath/shower, care for yourself as you would the God/dess manifest, for in truth you/she/he are. Ground, Center and Shield. Call your guides and guardians; cast a circle if you choose. If alone, read both of the charges below, then sit in silence to hear the wisdom of the night and the Sun, who is equal in power yet not jealous or resentful. Do as you are bidden, scry, read, create something, write a poem, bake a cake, write in your journal, find, create random acts of love and pleasure!
If however you are with the one you love, each of you Read one of the charges below, sit in silence as wisdom is shared, knowing each of you truly embody the Goddess and God, that you are equals, with no need of jealousy or resentment. Honor each other as you would honor the god and goddess for you/he/she are. Join together in love and pleasure to manifest your hearts desire. Be sure your intent is clear, to create, secure your pure intent for what you want to bring into being, raise a cone of power, and send it out into the universe with that focus.
Coupled or solitary, when your rite is complete again ground, center and shield, thank your guides and guardians, and release the God/dess knowing and remembering that they always reside with in you. Make notes in your journal about your experience.
The Charge of the Goddess --Written by Doreen Valiente Listen to the words of the Great Mother, who was of old also called amongst men Artemis, Astarte, Diana, Melusine, Aphrodite, Cerridwen, Dana, Arianrhod, Isis, Bride and by many other names. At my altars, the youth of most distant ages gave love, and made due sacrifice. Whenever you have need of anything, once in a month, and better it be when the Moon is full, then shall you gather in some secret place and adore the spirit of Me, who am Queen of all Witcheries.
There shall you assemble ye who are fain to learn all sorcery, yet have not won its deepest secrets; to these will I teach things that are yet unknown. And you shall be free from slavery, and as a sign that you be really free you shall be naked in your rites. And you shall dance, sing, feast, make music and love all in my praise; for mine is the ecstasy of the spirit, and mine also is joy on Earth, for my law is love unto all beings.
Keep pure your highest ideal, strive ever towards it; let naught stop you or turn you aside, for mine is the secret door which opens upon the door of youth. And mine is the cup of the wine of life and the Cauldron of Cerridwen, which is the Holy Grail of Immortality.
I am the gracious Goddess who gives the gift of joy unto the heart of man, upon Earth I give knowledge of the Spirit eternal, and beyond death I give peace and freedom and reunion with those who have gone before; nor do I demand sacrifice, for behold I am the Mother of all living, and my love is poured out upon the Earth. Hear ye the words of the Star Goddess.
She in the dust of whose feet are the hosts of Heaven, whose body encircles the universe. I who am beauty of the green Earth and the white Moon amongst the stars. And the mystery of the waters, and the desire of the heart of man, call unto thy soul. Arise and come unto me, for I am the souls of Nature who gives life to the universe.
From me all things procees, and unto me all things must return. And before my face, beloved of Gods and men, thine inmost divine self shall be enfolded in the rapture of the infinte.
Let my worship be with the heart that rejoices, for behold, all acts of love and pleasure are my rituals. And therefore let there be beauty and strength, power and compassion, honour and humility, mirth and reverence within you.
And you who thinks to seek for me, know thy seeking and yearning shall avail you not, unless you know the mystery, that if that which you seek you find not within thee, you will never find it without thee. Behold I have been with you from the beginning and I am that which is attained at the end of desire.
The Charge of the God -----This is one variation among many Listen to the words of the Great Father, who was of old called Osiris, Adonis, Zeus, Thor, Pan, Cernunnos, Herne, Lugh and by many other names. "My law is harmony with all things. Mine is the secret that opens the gates of life and mine is the dish of salt of the Earth that is the body of Cernunnos, that is the eternal circle of rebirth. I give the knowledge of life everlasting and beyond death I give the promise of regeneration and renewal. I am the sacrifice, the father of all things, and my protection blankets the Earth."
Hear the words of the dancing God, the music of whose laughter stirs the winds, whose voice calls the seasons:
"I who am the Lord of the Hunt and the Power of the Light, sun among the clouds and the secret of the flame, I call upon your bodies to arise and come unto me. For I am the flesh of the Earth and all its beings. Through me all things must die and with me are reborn. Let my worship be in the body that sings, for behold all acts of willing sacrifice are my rituals. Let there be desire and fear, anger and weakness, joy and peace, awe and longing within you. For these too are part of the mysteries found within yourself, within me. All beginnings have endings and all endings have beginnings."
The following poem was given to me in the form of a needlework hanging by my sister, before she knew how firmly, I walked the path of a Druid, Priestess, Witch, Minister, She credited as being by Author Unknown, though I have since found it on Abbey Willowroot's Star Dust Site. I believe it to be one of the best grounding meditations I have ever done, and I offer it up to you all tonight as a New Moon Ritual Meditation. Dark/ New Moon is a mystical time, it is the brief pause between ending and beginning, dying and living, it is that timeless pause where it is possible to truly open ourselves to our higher Spirit Selves, an instant in which it is possible to glimpse eternity. So while we are not currently settled in a physical location that will allow us to come together in body, I invite you all to join me among the stars. We will be doing this ritual at our humble hearth, at 9pm on Tuesday, February 28,
Ritual Intent: To seek union with our higher self for guidance regarding endings and new beginnings. To find our mission of healing, to raise power to begin that mission, to celebrate this energy as it is mirrored in our lives, and to express our gratitude to the universe for the amazing journey we are experiencing. Calls and Casting: (Please cast your own circle as you choose) Hail and Welcome to the Guardians and Inhabitants of the 7 directions, To the Elementals, Ancestors, Guides and God/dess' who choose to come and stand as equals in mutual exchange and protection, Join now our circle, Share Now our Dreams. A Circle of Equals we now weave, in perfect love and perfect trust,within this circle we are each, leader and lead, teacher and taught, patron and suplicant, creator and created, Deity and mortal... Let any energy form or thought, not present for the highest good of all leave now for this is Sacred Space, Between the Worlds and as such Protected!~
The Meditiation: Be aware of your connection to your body, to your contact with the earth, the energy that flows between you and all that is around you, then open your mind and become all that you already are: I

The Work: While you contemplate this concept allow your mind to truly open to the universe, when you find that you are soaring free, in the clarity of who you are at your creation, ask yourself what work you are to embrace and where that path begins. Bring your insights back with you as you return to this plane for it is not time to return to Star Dust yet.
Grounding: Remember who you are, and remember that you are also here, incarnate on this plane, reconnect to the energy of the earth, and to those things around you that you need to be connected to, make notes in your journal about your meditation. Come Back here and share your journey if you choose. Please remember to ground with food, after this meditation. When you are finished with your ritual, release those who have joined you to return to their places of being with thanks and gratitude. We wish you good journeys!
